During my internship at My Sun Life HK, I have the opportunity to redesign their application onboarding experience.
Problem
Why we need to redesign the onboarding experience?
We found out that the users couldn’t relate the app with the previous experience because
Irrelevant and outdated lifestyle images
Not consistent with branding
The copy is very general and missing highlights of the app features
The goal of this redesign is to let users able to understand the app at first sight and promote our eClaims and fund management features.
Ideation
Use illustrations to give a strong first impression to the users of what features we have
Using the icon inside the application as the base of the illustration
Simple two to three sentences to introduce the features
